In 2013 Stockfisch Records released a new CD: 13 songs of the tireless creative songwriter and guitarist from Alabama are on his new album "Purple Cadillacs".

Stockfisch has just released two brand-new David Munyon CDs of hitherto unpublished songs recorded in 1996/97 – "Seven Leaves in a Blue Bowl of Water" and "More Songs for Planet Earth". In co-operation with many of Stockfisch’s artists, Günter Pauler has now selected 25 songs from the treasure trove of his music archives, putting them on the new albums and polishing them till they shine as the audiophile pearls they are.

Eugene Ruffolo’s fabulously intense musicality is reminiscent of many a great artist, notably Marc Cohn and sometimes of fellow Stockfisch artist David Roth. Ruffolo’s own guitar sounds big and warm, its interplay with exceptional guitarist John Jennings masterfully recorded and of lucid beauty.

There is a phrase used in English that has no exact equivalent in German. An artist may be called a „musicians’ musician“, and by that be described as a musician, whose genius is admired by his colleagues in the highest degree; maybe his art has formed the style of a whole musical genre, but due to whatever reasons has never found mass appeal and popularity.

"mitten im sturm" is a richly facetted album – squally periods followed by intermittent calm, the rise and swell of the waves: Katja Werker's own compositions; fresh, energy-laden pop songs ("Crossfire"), some English and German folk; notably a Peter Gabriel classic from the Seventies ("Here comes the Flood") not to mention an awe-inspiring rendition of the German hit pop song "Über sieben Brücken must Du gehn". Arrangements are the artist's own.

Duo Balance fits in into Louis Capart´s music congenially, singing together in perfect harmony: in their soloistic parts, as well as performing songs for two or three voices.
